Golden Kela Awards, Aamir’s favourite

Aamir Khan In Bollywood no one really cares for Golden Kela Awards which honours the worst performances, but our odd man out Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is in love with Kela Awards. The actor recently mentioned that he have a high regard for the Golden Kela Awards because other awards are debris and sold.. It was indeed a honest comment from the actor who is known for his condescension for popular awards, so much so that he boycotts all the same. Aamir Khan’s comment is also being construed as a restrained taunt at Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who won the Golden Kela Worst Actor Award this year for his dull performance in My Name Is Khan . To make things more crystal clear, Mr. perfectionist even mocked at the decision of giving SRK the best actor award at a popular function some time ago. Aamir stated that like someone recently gave the Best Actor award to Shah Rukh Khan, instead Salman Khan should have won it for Dabangg or it would have been Ajay Devgn for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai . Taking potshots at Shahrukh Khan is not new for Aamir. In fact, the two assert to be friends who raise the roof in good natured chitchat even though the jousting between them has at times hooked to the down market level. Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One has beaten Aamir Khan’s film ‘ 3 Idiots ’ record of the highest price for satellite rights. Ra.One’s satellite rights have been bought for a monstrous amount of Rs 40 crore. The rights for 3 Idiots were sold for Rs 36 crore as reported. SRK’s Ra.One has numerous international celebrities; the special effects are being done by Hollywood artists, so this movie sure needs to recover its costs.
